About Us
Habilitat’s kitchen crew has been serving over 300 meals daily for over 50 years. Generations have come and gone through our now industrial kitchen leaving behind their knowledge and flavor for the next to come.
That recipe of experience and hunger is what makes us so different. With expert advise from nutritionists, we cater a wide variety of meals for people with special dietary needs such as diabetics, vegans, dental soft diets, lactose intolerance and high blood pressure.
1971
Habilitat’s kitchen begins serving meals to it’s residents.
1978
Habilitat joins celebrities to create a cookbook.
1981
Habilitat introduces the original 24k Chip (cookie).
2006
Habilitat opens our catering company “All Kine Grindz”.
2015
The All Kine Grindz food truck hits the streets.
2019
Habilitat begins preparing the meals for the Meals on Wheels Program.
2021
Habilitat begins preparing the meals for US vets in Kapolei.
2022
Habilitat begins preparing the meals for the Wai’anae Civic Center homeless shelter.
2023
Began preparing 3 meals a day for Community Empowerment Resources Crisis Center.
